This is a spray applied adhesive used for bonding all types of rubber and urethane flexible foams to themselves or to other materials such as cloth, wood, or metal. Techno Adhesive #259 may be used for one side application in certain bonding operations, where #159 will not perform. It has excellent application and working characteristics with very high coverage. Techno Adhesive #259 performs well in all areas of foam laminating and fabrication with minimal web formation under normal usage. It produces soft, non-dimpling bonds which will not harden or darken with age. Fabrics in contact with this bond line will not become stained after aging for long periods even when exposed to sunlight.
