| APPLICATION: | Most methods may be used but due to the fast drying, spray application is recommended. Apply primer to achieve a dry film thickness of 1-2 mils. If corrosion is a problem increase thickness to 3-4 mils dry film. It may be necessary to clean the skin surface prior to primer application. Allow all solvent to evaporate prior to foaming.

#441 ZERO VOC FOAM PRIMER
Techno Foam Primer #441 has been designed to enhance the adhesion and performance of rigid urethane foam-in-place operations and has shown excellent results with aluminum. In addition to greatly improved adhesion to the surface contacted by the foam, be it stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, or other nonporous surfaces, Techno #441 primer also improves uniformity of foam rises. It eliminates foam voids and other problems caused by oil and skin surface contamination which lead to poor foam rise. The primer performs well and maintains its bonds at temperatures from 200 °F to 0 °F. When the primer is used on aluminum or steel in the manufacture of insulated rail cars, appliances, or refrigerated trucks and tanks, the corrosive chemicals present in the urethane foam are prevented from attacking the metal skin, adding to the longevity of the product
